2012 Student Film Competition
The San Francisco Ocean Film Festival is pleased to announce the premiere of the first ever San Francisco Ocean Film Festival Student Film Competition!
Designed to give students the opportunity to showcase their filmmaking skills to a elite panel of judges and professional filmmakers, winners will receive a prize and see their films on the big screen at the 9th Annual San Francisco Ocean Film Festival in March 2012. Students will make a “big splash”, and have their voices heard through filmmaking!
Subject material should be ocean-related:
- Ocean environments,
- Ocean science
- Ocean cultures
- Ocean sports
- Ocean wildlife
Films to made entirely by a student or group of students.
Film length: Between 30 seconds & 5 minutes
Age divisions: Elementary, Middle, and High School Students
Deadline for entry: February 1, 2012
